Oh the Beautiful Horror...

Oh the Beautiful Horror...

by Cory Daigrepont

Alien by Phillip Kennedy Johnson is must read! Published by Marvel Comics.

Alien is probably the most under the radar ongoing comic series out today...that needs to change today! It starts with YOU!

If you're a fan of the Alien movie franchise this is for you. Even if you aren't a fan of the movies, it is still a great read and gives off epic horror/sci-fi vibes. The writing by Phillip Kennedy Johnson is so well done...oh and the art doesn't disappoint. The view between the sheets is pretty stellar. So if you like comic gore, aliens, horror, sci-fi genre, good story telling and good art then this is for you. Its a great pickup for something new to read and something outside the norm of the superhero world.

Alien #1 - 6 starts off with a bang! Some familiarity from the movies are notice in these issues, including a very familiar face. Here is a little Marvel summary from issue #1.
